Free PS4 PlayStation Plus Games For September 2018 Confirmed; One Is Out Now

Sony has announced the games PlayStation Plus members will be able to download for free in September. As usual, subscribers get two games each for PS4, PS3, and PS Vita between September 4 and October 1. Two things about this month's offerings are unusual. First, all six games are Cross Buy with PS4, so you don't need to dust off old hardware to play them. And secondly, one of the games is available early--right now, in fact. Heroic strikes and prestige Nightfalls are gone in Destiny 2: Forsaken

The end of the adjective era In this week’s This Week at Bungie, the studio revealed how some of Destiny 2’s late-game activities will change when Forsaken is released early next month. This mostly includes strikes and Nightfalls, the difficult versions of which are being retired. Heroic strikes and prestige Nightfalls will instead be replaced with a more streamlined system, designed to accommodate players who purchase Forsaken, as well as those that don’t. The original game, Warmind, Curse of Osiris and Forsaken all in one package Bungie announced today alongside a new trailer for Destiny 2: Forsaken that the entire game will now be purchasable in one complete package. The Destiny 2: Legendary Collection will come with the base game, Curse of Osiris, Warmind and Forsaken, the game’s upcoming expansion. This collection should come as a welcome offering to new players and those that wish to switch platforms with the launch of the upcoming expansion.
